2018 Paxton Guesser White (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris) - Organic/Biodynamic

Wine Notes: Leaders in organic and biodynamic winemaking, McLaren Vale’s Paxton Vineyard is one of our favourite producers.

The Guesser White is a unique winemaker’s blend of Estate white varietals including: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. The result is a wonderfully fresh, fruit driven and crisp white wine of bright straw colour. Fragrant aromas of lemon, olive brine and white peach lift from the glass. It is a soft fruit driven wine, with gentle additional layers of lemon meringue adding to its generously flavoursome mouthfeel. Its finish is clean.

Wine Notes: Margaret River winemaker Vanya Cullen has an extraordinarily good palate and skill in winemaking. Her talents have transformed her family's vineyard into one of Australia’s true premium boutique wineries. We’re mighty proud to be offering her product as a part of the ultimate whites pack.

This delightful blended white showcases a fragrant combination of tropical notes including: honeydew melon, papaya and some citrus. It’s a fruit driven wine with a palate of green apple, passion fruit and elegant touches of stone fruit. It finishes dry with plenty of citrus notes.

With Food: This wonderfully aromatic wine is a fantastic match to poached or grilled fish paired with citrus and/or fresh herbs. Also a good match to softly spiced Asian dishes.

The palate features zesty fruit, lemon pith, lemon sorbet, grapefruit and a hint of ginger. A lovely creaminess fills the mid palate prior to finishing with a bright citrus lift. A class act.

2018 J.E Ngeringa Chardonnay - Biodynamic

Wine Notes: This limited release J.E Chardonnay is produced using leaner Chardonnay parcels from the cooler and lower parts of the Ngeringa Adelaide Hills summit vineyard. A complex nose of citrus zest and ripe peaches feature, with hints of vanilla. A rounded, yeasty character further broadens its appeal. The palate boasts textural layers of cashews and cream paired with delightful velvety phenolics. This makes its mouth feel a balancing act between rich depths and delicate freshness.

2017 Yangarra Estate Roussanne

Wine Notes: Yangarra Estate is a powerhouse boutique McLaren Vale winery lead by 2016 Halliday Winemaker of the Year, Peter Fraser. His Estate Roussanne is arguably one of Australia’s finest.

This complex wine features slightly smoky, oriental fragrances, yet is impossibly silky in texture. Complex aromas of dry spice, roasted nuts, fennel and fruit layer its palate. It finishes with a clean mineral element. A rare and special wine that’s fabulous with food and deserving of special occasions.

With Food: If you cook with passion, serve this wine. Perhaps try steamed coral trout, BBQ wild barramundi with lemon, herbs and butter or chilli mud crab. If it’s decadent then this is the perfect wine match. Also brilliant with a range of aged cheeses including: washed rind, cheddar and blue.
